Born and raised in Malaysia. Mum from the Philippines, dad from the "Bregenzerwald". Home is... where the heart is, right? And that is definitely in Bregenz!

I cook and bake here, and I get all my fresh ingredients straight from local farmers. 

I learned how to cook through my apprenticeship in Schwarzenberg, but I also cooked in Portugal and China. My great passion has always been desserts and pastries. Maybe also because my Papa successfully set up and operated bakeries in China..?  

I owe my nickname "Big Kahuna" to colleagues in Portugal. "Kahuna" originates in Hawaii. It translates to "a master of his skill". A "kahuna" has learned his skills from the ground up and improved them until he has mastered his trade.
